Assessing blogs

Yap Li Yin (36) 204 http://chocolatefudger.blogspot.com/

Li Yin has recorded her diet for 3 consecutive days, it is commendable that Li Yin has managed to include veges in her meals as she is one who picks out peas from fried rice. ;D She has taken the effort to have regular meals and sustained a relatively healthy diet. However, it is important to note that she should not indulge herself in oreo cookies late in the night, even if its just a piece. This is so as supper is highly discouraged and one's body is unable to burn away the energy one small cookie can provide, before going to sleep. Otherwise, the fats will store in the body for a long time to come.

Li Yin has to take note of having breakfast as it is observed that she only eats lunch of brunch at 11. This may lead to overall exhaustion throughout the day, not having the required foods in a breakfast first thing in the morning.

It is good that her food from her meals come from the bottom most tier of the food pyramid, and foods consumed in moderation from fruits and veges from the second tier of the food pyramid. :D Overall, her meals are healthy.

PS: Contrary to Li Yin's belief, mamee rice sticks are suitably healthy as they consists of mainly rice and corn. It is Gluten free, no preservatives and no gm ingredients.

Justine Tan 204 http://fishlikeafishermanfnn.blogspot.com/

Justine has put in commendable effort in recording down her meals and food that she has consumed. I have noticed that her meals consist of mostly snakes and no real proper food and carbohydrates like rice. Also, she drinks many not very healthy drinks such as Pink Dolphin, apple juice, orange juice, starbucks and black coffee. (Coffee disrupts sleeping patterns) A suggestion would include her drinking more plain water or self squeezed juice as many comercial products contain preservatives, colouring, added ingredients and chemicals detrimental to health. It is also noted that she had both cheesecake and chocolate cake in one day. An advice to her, to spread the servings over more days so that fat can be burnt more effectively. Justine should also consume fruits at an earlier timing instead of 10, perhaps at 8.

Justine is commendable in having a full and good breakfast as this provides her with enough energy to stay alert in the morning and contribute to be more focused.

Her suggestion for a healthier meal is also very appealing. It is healthy as it requires little oil, its convenient to cook and there are enough fibre and carbohydrate. It is advised for her to eat this dish instead of all the things that she has consumed for her dinner on day 3.

Overall, her meals are not very healthy. ):

Tabitha Foo 204 http://tabithaeatsalot.blogspot.com/

As observed, Tabitha has regular light meals and she does not snack in between. This is a very healthy practice and one that requires lots of determination ;P This also explains her slender and healthy figure she has. :D It is  important, however to note that she consumes too little food for breakfast and may lead to loss of concentration for the rest of the day. She should also supplement her meals with more veges or fruits. It is also not advisable for her to drink 2 can drinks in 1 day as can drinks contain lots of unwanted chemicals and not healthy in general. :(

I will advise for Tabitha to consume more foods in the second tier of the food pyramid, like replacing mango cake with mangoes itself on the second day. This way, she will not be eating unhealthy fats found in cream on the cake (correct me if I am wrong, I do assume there's cream on her cake. cream = nono). She should consume more in the morning than for dinner.

Overall, she should consume more food for a growing girl :D
